Yeah, if one thing has suffered in the New 52 (besides Captain Marvel) it's the books about the Teen Titans and other Young Heroes. I hate to say it, but most problems can be traced back to Scott Lobdell. In fact a lot of people say he is the reason Superman has been doing so bad in the New 52. He is basically the touch of death over at DC. If you want to hear people talk comics, and bash on Scott Lobdell, then check out this podcast these guys do: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcTJjc… It's actually pretty funny. I think I'll share your picture on the facebook page, I'm sure everyone will get a kick out of it. (don't worry, you'll be credited)
Yeah, the Young Justice cartoon had a lot of romance; only it was used to exlore the characters, it wasn't the only important thing for the plot, and it was done right. I so wish they didn't cancel that. This is what happens when Greg Weisman writes a show: it's gonna be so awesome it hurts (just look at "Gargoyles"), but it's gonna be cancelled. Gotta be some kinf of curse, or whatever.
In Issue #17, Tim kisses Kiran randomly for... reasons. That are not entirely clear. She puts up a mild protest at first because apparently she and Bart are a thing? Oh and then Tim goes to Cassie, who is not fully dressed, for some implied sexual shenanigans and it's implied this isn't their first time doing the nasty.
Meanwhile Evil!Raven watches/listens to all of this like a creeper from... somewhere. So apparently Tim is mind-controled or something.
